The opening is a brisk, refreshing effusion of sparkling Italian lemon, licorice tinged lavender and a hint of fruity aromatic bergamot. Lovely, heady white florals emerge at the heart, mingling jasmine with lush, lightly aqueous tones of intoxicating orange blossom. Cedar wood, supple leather and white musk form a soft, harmonizing backdrop, producing a clean, enveloping finish with subtly sweet undertones.

Aqua Gold was released by the French perfume house Montale in 2018. This Paris based label was founded in 2003, and creates exquisite compositions that draw on both Arabian and European perfume traditions.
